Food For Thought: There are times in our lives when we need restoration. Things happen in our lives that set us back. We lose our direction. It’s easy to lose faith when it seems as though everything is going wrong in our lives. When nothing seems to go as planned and we just can’t seem to get a break from God. We wonder if He even hears our cries or if He even cares. At the root of this need is the assurance of the level of our love for Christ. If our relationship with Him is genuine and He is the focus of our love, that becomes the conduit through which our love for Him will motivate us to demonstrate love for others through compassion and sincere empathy.
