Food For Thought: When we turn 65, we feel like we have new advantages that we didn’t have before. We can draw Social Security, ride the city bus for free if we live in the city, visit city parks without paying for admission, take adult courses for free, collect Medicare, oh yes, we certainly can’t leave out all those stores and restaurants discounts. For some it feels like a very liberated time for others not so. It is good to pause and count our blessings at every birthday. They pile up with the years. God is changeless. He has work for us here and each milestone shows that he chose to have us remain to give him a hand. Let’s try to make it count.
