Food For Thought: Most of us have had at least one week when everything seemed to go wrong. The car had a flat, the whole house got the stomach flu, the plumbing went out etc. These events don’t always come in groups, but even one at a time they can be irritating and sometimes exasperating. Then there are the more serious events that enter our lives without reason. The ones that seem to take us out. We lost our job, a family member becomes ill etc. It makes us ask the question “Why Me Lord”
God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. What a difference it makes in the atmosphere of our homes if we face our calamities with an attitude of joy. So, the next time those rough winds sweep through our homes let’s rejoice in knowing God’s got this.
