Food For Thought: Is God a Mystery to some yes. God is in control and will accomplish all His purpose in the world. When we humbly allow for this mystery, we learn to rest in His wisdom and trust His resolution of the things we cannot sort out on our own. We leave it in His Hands. Why is mystery a good and wonderful thing? Because it reminds us of the greatness of our God. He cannot be squeezed into our theological cubbyholes. Rather than cause us to fear, mystery should bring us relief and peace. He is God. He is the God who is beyond our imagination let alone our classifications. He is a God worth serving. He is a God worth knowing, and He is a God with whom we can entrust our prayers. Mystery and all.
