The Scott County Sports Hall of Fame will be celebrating five years of recognizing former athletes and coaches who have excelled in their sports. We have 12 honorees for 2019. The ceremony will be April 27, at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Food For Thought: On March 7, 2019, we traveled to Atlanta to help our daughter Rosiland McCoy move to a new location. Making the trip were her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Lewis, her brothers Gary Gipson and Jimmie R Lewis.
This was a working trip although we were able to get in a little leisure time. To any one that has moved, I don’t have to tell you what a tremendous task this is when you add in stairs. Saying thanks to everyone that helped including her father, Ronny McCoy seems so insignificant. Time spent with family is worth every second.
Family is like music, some high notes, some low notes, but always a beautiful song.
