Fourth Sunday fellowship services were held at the Scott County District Building on April 28, 2019 host churches were Pleasant Hill M.B. Church and New MT Calvary M.B. Church. Rev. Tracy Glass scripture reference Nehemiah 6:3 with the subject Too legit to quit. Rev. Marcus McDougle scripture reference 2 Corinthians 1:4 with the subject God will take care of you. Dean Dorothy Smith was in attendance and passed out some awards; Sis. Glass student of the year, New MT Calvary church of the year and Sis. Yvonne Shepherd Hamartian award.
Prayers For: Rev. Jeff Stingley and family Tiffany Townsend, Bridgett Townsend, Kay Smith, Steve Hollis, Patricia Rand, George Newell, Rhodesia Bennett, Homer Matheny, Annie Patrick, Janice Glass and the Tornado victims. Food For Thought: Temptations and testing are two sides of the same coin. Satan uses an occasion or a person to tempt us to fall; God uses the same to try us and make us stronger.
