Announcements: Summer Camp at Excel Learning Center for grades kindergarten through 5th grade. The dates will be June 3-6, 10, 13, 17-20 and 24-27 from 8:00 a.m.11:30 a.m. You can register for one week or all weeks the fee is $25 per child and $20 for each additional child in the family
The Scott County Women’s Auxiliary will present their 17th Annual Hat and Tea Show to be held on June 8th 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the District Building.
The Scott County District Young People’s convention will be held on June 14-15 2019 at the Scott County District Building. For more information contact Youth Director Bettye Earby at 601-750-0877.
Baccalaureate services will be held at Christian Triumph M.B. Church on May 19, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. Commencement will be held on May 23, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. Location Morton High School.
Vistin’: Rosiland McCoy from Atlanta Georgia, was home visiting family while here she got a chance to experience the Canton Flea Market although the conditions weren’t great this year.

Continued prayers for A.J. Stingley and his family as they began his journey of recovery.

Food For Thought: Now that you have completed your course of study high school or college nothing can stop you now. Your future looks brighter, I know it’s been a long challenging journey but you didn’t give up. I wish for you a joy filled transition, to the next stage of your life. Pursue your goals, yet keep your loved ones close, as you utilize your talent and ambition. Let your family and friends give you their support. As you explore and develop your unique talents, remain humble, realizing that your abilities are gifts from God. As life hands you challenges, welcome them as ways to become smarter and stronger. As you acquire material things, know that your most important possessions are honesty, integrity, and the desire to make a difference. May your new path take you where you want to go. Believe It, See It, Protect It, and Speak It doing these things will make your goals attainable,
