Announcements: Summer Camp at Excel Learning Center for grades kindergarten through 5th grade. The dates will be June 3-6, 10, 13, 17-20 and 24-27 from 8:00 a.m.11:30 a.m. You can register for one week or all weeks the fee is $25 per child and $20 for additional child in the family
The Scott County Women’s Auxiliary will present their 17th Annual Hat and Tea Show to be held on June 8, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at the District Building.

Food For Thought: To achieve any goal, risk is always involved. We tend to say I’m not taking any risk; I’m not going out on a limb famous saying. What we don’t realize is out on a limb is where the fruit is.
Most of us start our lives with a healthy attitude toward risk. As children we can’t wait to start something new, as teenagers we can’t wait to be risk takers, as we grow older, we change our attitude. We decide that we need to be more safe and secure. As a result, there are very few people in the world who think originally.
Most of us mimic the latest trends, voicing popular opinions, and repeating the same thing day after day. The spice of life is in doing new things. The people who think originally and have the courage to act on their inspiration are hailed as trendsetters. We have to take risks in order to achieve our goals.
