Announcements: Homestead M.B. Church Fall Revival will start September15, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. Their will be a two-night service September 16-17 beginning at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Cornelius Turner of Carthage Ms. will be the speaker.
Rawls Chapel Baptist Church will be in revival September 8-12, 2019. Monday night Rev. Joseph Taylor, Tuesday night Rev. Scottie Ervin and Wednesday night Rev. Ronnie Brown, Thursday night Rev. Melvin Blackmon. Service begins each night at 7:00 p.m.

Food For Thought: There are times in our life when we are shattered, times when we feel helpless and don’t know what to do next. Sometimes we feel like we have failed as a friend, as a mother, as a wife. Somewhere in the back of our minds we are thinking what’s the use anyway. How do we get up and stand, when we feel hopeless? We have to look away from our circumstances and shift our attention to God.
