Resolutions Made Yet?
Top ten in the U.S.A. Diet; Eat healthier; Exercise more; Lose weight; Save more; Learn new skill or hobby; Quit smoking; Read more; Drink less alcohol; Spend more time with family and friends. It is estimated that 41 percent of Americans make resolutions and out of that group 48 percent achieve some of their resolutions.
I am surprised that somewhere in top resolutions there was not “Spend less time on cell phone.” I must admit that before I got a “smart” phone, I said I would never sit in a public place and stay on mine. When I have an extended wait, say in a waiting room, I broke that promise.
What is very annoying is to be around someone that stays on their phone, most of the time, as it makes me feel like I am invisible. As we get older we get more invisible, seems like. My Mother noticed that her Doctor would discuss her health issues with me instead of her. She would say, guess he didn’t see me?

I found a disturbing National problem that I am sharing. This probably explains why we are having the problems in our Nation. It is called “A ‘Organization For the Action’ is a non-profit project created to carry out the agenda of former president Barak Obama.”
“It is being reported that for the first time in history of our country, suddenly we have a former president set up a group called “Organization for Action or OFC”. It is a network of non-profits which is growing a war chest (more than $40. Million) with some 250 offices nationwide.”
OFA’s website says it obtained it’s “digital” assets from the ex-president’s re-election efforts and that he inspired the movement. In short, it is the shadow government organization aimed at resisting, tearing down the Constitutional Republic we know as America. This group has more than 32,000 followers and growing.
Paul Sperry, writer for the New York Post, says “the OFA will fight President Trump at every turn of his presidency and the ex-president will command them from a bunker less than two miles from the White House.” (For additional information on this, Google OFA)
This past week I had a loving phone call from Sammie Louise Rigsby, a former Sunbeam employee. She is in her mid 90’s, presently living with her son, Eddy James, in Jackson. She remembers, in minute detail, every assignment she had at Sunbeam. Her children are all doing well in their chosen career’s and have given her loving grandchildren. She credit’s Sunbeam with the opportunities she had, in giving her children the chance to shine in their world of business. Our numbers in the “Sunbeam family” is fast fading, but just like Sammie, our memories live on.
