I have, what should be good news to all, about our local Walmart! I am so tired of dodging the huge pot holes that I called their manager. He has only been in town and the manager a couple of weeks. He said he was aware of the problem the first time he went to the facility. He immediately called the home office and plans are in place to repair it in a couple weeks! Instead of brushing my concern off, he was so polite and thanked me for calling!
Some disturbing news came out a day or so ago. I hope it is fake news! “Mike Bloomberg is considering Hillary Clinton as his running mate! Polling found the Bloomberg-Clinton combination would be formidable force to take on Trump in the race for the White House. (A source to his campaign has told the Drudge Report). Bloomberg is considering changing his place of residency because the Electoral College makes it tough for a president and vice-president to reside in the same state.” Bloomberg’s campaign would not confirm or deny these statements.

Boy age 4: Boy, “I’ve decided to get married.” Dad, “wonderful, do you have a girl in mind?” Boy, “yes, Grandma! She says she loves me, I love her too, she’s the best cook and story teller in the whole world.” Dad, “that’s nice, but we have a small problem there!” Boy, “what problem?” Dad, “she happens to be my Mother. How can you marry my Mother?” Boy, “why not, you married mine?”
I don’t feel like I’m getting any older, it’s like my warranty has expired and my parts are wearing out!

EBC News: At our Sunday morning worship service, Hispanic Pastor Hugo and his wife, Tere and son, Pablo Villegas brought the message. They shared the work they are doing as missionaries to the Hispanic population in Scott County. Since the undocumented raids a few months ago, they have seen a remarkable number of people attending their worship services. Also, Tere, is in charge of the Scott County Crisis Center in Forest. If you have not heard of what is taking place with this part of the Baptist Association Ministry, you have missed a tremendous blessing.
Our pastor, Chris Harrison, his wife, Tanya and family members have been to San Antonio to be with their Son, Seth, who was graduating from “Boot Camp” in the National Guard.

Eggs are fantastic for a fitness diet! If you do not like the taste of eggs, just add cocoa, baking powder, butter, flour and sugar, mix up and cook at 350 degrees for 20 minutes!
We all get heavier as we get older. There’s a lot more information in our heads, so, I’m not fat! I’m just really intelligent and my head couldn’t hold any more. So, it just started filling up the rest of me. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
So far, it seems the Ground Hog not seeing his shadow is working — at least some days! We all have to really hurt for all that are experiencing the flooding in and around Jackson and other areas of the state! God bless all!

Recipe for Bread Pudding: 16 slices of white bread (toast slightly, then pinch up in small pieces.). Place them in greased 9X13 cooking dish and slightly mash them down. Then mix 3 eggs, 2 cups white sugar, 1 stick softened butter or margarine with 1 quart of milk. Pour this over the bread and bake 350 degrees about 30 minutes. Set aside and mix topping: 3/4 stick butter or margarine, 1 cup white chocolate morsels and microwave till soft. Mix this until it is smooth. Add 1 cup confectioners sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring. Cream this mixture, pour over cooked bread mixture. Cook for about 15 minutes until it is bubbling. Be careful and not let it burn! Enjoy, enjoy! This is Zellene Posey’s famous recipe and my folks love it!
