Happy Father’s Day
To all the Dad’s on your special day. “WHAT IS A DAD - A Dad is someone who wants to catch you before you fall, but instead picks you up, brushes you you off and lets you try again. A Dad is someone who wants to keep you from making mistakes, but instead let’s you find your own way, even though his heart breaks in silence when you get hurt. A Dad is someone who holds you when you cry, scolds you when you break the rules, shines with pride when you succeed and has faith in you when you fail.
To all whose Dad’s are no longer living, it is good to just take time and reminisce about days past on what he meant to you. To those whose Dad’s weren’t present, honor the person that assumed that role in your life!
Dad’s responsibilities have changed somewhat to what they were years ago. This has happened because so many Mom’s have full time jobs. It is so good to see young Dad’s helping, such as diaper changing, (Much easier now with disposable diapers) carrying the child carrier’s, etc. My hat’s off to modern day families where both share responsibility for their children!

The big question was, “My lord, you can live anywhere in the world, why did you choose Mississippi?” My answer was “Because I can live anywhere, but the true answer is that of any place I’ve ever been, it feels more like home. When I am coming here and hit Mississippi, everything is right.” (Morgan Freeman)
To those who plan on taking a vacation trip, this may be of interest. USA Today released it’s Reader’s Choice 2020 Awards and the Ark Encounter was named America’s Best Religious Museum. It is located in Williamsburg, Kentucky and founded by Ken Ham. The Ark Encounter welcomes over one million guest annually to tour the full replica of Noah’s Ark. The theme is based on Habakkuk 2:14. - “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the seas.” An added incentive, for tourist, is that this year admission is free to children 10 years of age and younger.
Question: Are we on “shelter at home” until there are no germs left in the world, or just until the election is over?
“Blue States are requiring that if you get out of your car in the grave yard, you must wear a mask! They do not want you to infect their voters! (Remember, some vote after death!”
“Little Johnny and his family were having Sunday dinner at his grandmother’s house. Everyone was seated and food was being served. When little Johnny received his plate he started eating right away. “Johnny, please wait until we say our prayer,” his mother said. “I don’t need to,” little Johnny replied. “Of course you do,” his mother insisted. “We always say a prayer before eating at our house!” “That’s at our house,” Little Johnny replied, “but this is Grandma’s house and she knows how to cook!”
After 10 years a wife started to think their child looked kind of strange. So, she did a DNA test and found out the child is not hers! She told her husband what she found out, the husband replied. “You don’t remember, do you? When we were leaving the hospital the baby pooped and you told me to go change him. So, I went inside and got a clean one and left the dirty one there!” The wife fainted! (Sorry men, I know it’s Father’s Day weekend!)
Dear God, through everything I turn to You in prayer. As the world is beginning to reopen, I pray it’s not too soon. Please protect my loved ones. I lift every health care worker, law enforcement member, trucker and all citizens to You for strength. I pray there is no more spreading of Covid #19 and I am asking for Your mighty protection to cover this land and all who walk in it! AMEN
Have a blessed week!
