A Soldier’s prayer. Dear Lord, I served my country, my love for her is strong. I stood behind Old Glory, when others thought her wrong. I’ve joined in celebration and raised a toast in cheer. I’ve pledged my allegiance and sung her anthem dear. I’ve wept for fallen comrades who proudly fought and died. Their freedoms they defended, I cherish it inside. I’m proud to be an American, for her peace, I pray. There is no greater country, God Bless the USA. (God you know where every soldier is today. You know their assignments, their thoughts, their fears. Guard them, body, soul and mind. Draw everyone of them close to you as they face intense situations. Be their peace.)

In the 1880’s many farmers communicated to neighbors by connecting their phones to barbed wire fences. This process allowed for up to 20 people to connect at once.
