Eagle Scout Badge awarded to P.J. Norville
P.J. NORVILLE, son of proud mom, Christie White, received his “Eagle Scout Badge” and he is only a 9th grader at Scott Central School! Only about 5 percent of Boy Scouts have earned it. The goals of scouting — Citizenship, training, character development and personal fitness it remains important for all, whether they earn the rank of Eagle Scout! Keep up the good work P.J.
I certainly hope you all had a blessed Easter. Mine was truly blessed with the Holy Week services in Forest and then attending services at my “home church” growing up, at Salem Baptist. Their services were extra ordinary with great music and message from Bro. Larry Duncan! Following this, Janet and Harry Culpepper hosted a lunch at their house and 27 family and two visitors were present. God is good, all the time!
So sad for Mississippi State Ladies in their loss! They did good, but just a little hurts more than a lot in scoring! We saw Robbie Faulk’s, granddaughter Becky’s husband sitting just behind the score keepers at the game. He loves his work in the blogs and newspaper reporting for State!
Home Remedies: Honey for cuts, potato peels for burns, duct tape for twisted ankle (cut in strips) Greek yogurt for sunburn and toothpaste for bee stings. Boyd Ware gave me a new one that he found on Facebook — cabbage leaves, held on with Saran Wrap, for bad knees. He said he has done this and it works! OOPS! Last week I put in a wash for strawberries and got a word misspelled — it said “steam” and should have said “stem” the berries!
Prayer needs for all that are suffering with health needs and those that are in grief for loss of loved ones.
“Love your parents and treat them with respect and loving care. For you will only know their value when you see their empty chair.”
Thank You God for all you have done for me in the past year. Thank You for the days and nights, in which You have spoken to me, blessed me, provided for me, protected me, comforted me, healed me and given me strength to get through. Thank You God for reminding me to trust You with my life, Amen.
Have a blessed week and share with others!
