Praises for Prayers answered!
Good News! Some of the Soccer Team has been rescued!! Prayers still going up for the remainder of them, and workers involved, to be rescued! It is wonderful to see that several nations are represented in this effort. The Mission team from Forest Baptist, that went to Haiti, got out, and returned home on Friday. It was just a few hours before demonstrations erupted and the canceling of many airline flights. If we cannot see God’s handiwork, we must be tuned to the wrong wave link!

“AARP is the largest single investor in ‘Disrupt Dementia.’ More than Sixty Million people in the USA suffer various types of Dementia. World wide over 50 Million people have Dementia. By 2050 the current projection will be 131 Million, or about 1 in 5 people, will be affected. There is hope for a treatment and ultimately a cure for dementia. They are targeting to try to raise 350 Million dollars for trying to find a cure.”
“No T.V.? Your brain is like an attic! There’s just so much useless junk you can dump up there! Pretty soon the useless junk will crowd the important stuff.” I have found that having the T.V. on, just for the noise, disrupts work and interest in worthwhile things. I have an “Echo Dot” and I can tell “Alexa” to play me music of my choice, tell me a joke, or answer most questions that I have. It’s almost like having another person around.
This past week the Janet/Harry Culpepper family, and me as Mamaw, gained another grandchild. Brooke and Derek Crenshaw got the adoption finalized on their daughter Harlee Brooke Crenshaw. With the upcoming November birth that will make three in this year. Christmas will certainly be a BIG event for all!
Read a church notice on FB. “Please do not leave your purse, wallet, handbag, mobile phone, husband, wife, boyfriend, or girlfriend unattended. Others may think it’s an answer to their prayers!”
“I was going to complain about the heat — but I realized it is not 120 degrees, I am not 5,700 miles from home, I am not dressed in full uniform, I am not caring 70 lbs. of gear, there is little chance of me driving over a bomb today, THANKS TO ALL OF THOSE WHO SERVE!”
My Facebook account was “hacked” this past week by someone in Nigeria! That’s one that we can’t blame on Russia!
Have a blessed week!
