National Vietnam War Veteran’s Day!
March 29th was the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War. This event has the least amount of national and local attention. At the “Wall” there are currently 58,320 names inscribed on it. A number of veterans were honored and given lapel pins by the acting principal to the Secretary of Defense for public affairs, on behalf of the Defense Department. He also participated in a wreath-laying event at the memorial. Nine million Americans — about 6.4 of them living today — served during that period. I’d like to give my thanks to our local Vietnam Vet and emphasize you are not forgotten!
I was in Chick-Fil-A one day recently and noticed a truck all marked with red lips/ love/ and the back glass said “I am picking my soldier husband up today after his being gone two years!” I picked them out and stopped and thanked him for his service. I asked how long he’d be home? He smiled big and quickly said. “I'm retired, starting right now!”
Dr. Ben Carson spoke recently of fetal pain, describing abortion as barbaric and murder. Democratic Presidential Candidate, Pete Buttiqueg, said “You’re not free if you can’t kill your baby in abortion!”
“If there was a group killing 900 puppies everyday. Then selling their arms and legs for profit, all the while their facilities were subsided by taxpayers, there’d be nonstop news coverage. Planned Parenthood carries out these atrocities with human children and the news is silent.
“What has happened to our country? We elect Muslims, who want to impeach our President. We allow thousands of people to cross our borders illegally, committing terrible crimes. We call a wall illegal, yet we condone the ripping of babies piece by piece out of their mother’s womb. How much more immoral can we become? We cry for compassion, as homeless Vets and seniors suffer — yet we have more compassion for people who are illegally here, never served or paid a dime in taxes! Americans need to stand up and take this country back. We must rise up and not let this happen! Democrats you are in the fight of your lives. We will not let this happen!”
“Democrat’s voted against Social Security raise. Insanity is when illegal refugees get $3,874 a month and Federal Assistance while S.S. Checks average $1,200. A month?”

“Life is too short. Cut out the negativity, forget gossip, say goodbye to people who don’t care. Spend time with people who are always there! When the right person hugs you, it’s like medicine! Be grateful for those people in your life who are good for your soul.”
I’m finally old enough to do anything I want to! But, I am just too tired to actually do it!
Joke of the week: The Preacher said to the poor farmer, if you had a horse, would you give it to the Lord? Yes answered the farmer. And if you had a cow? Absolutely. And a goat? Sure. A pig? Thats not fair protested the farmer. You know I have a pig!
Have a blessed week and don't forget to share it with others!
