Track Team competes Thursday

Special prayer for Taylor Jobes who is the husband of Amanda Haralson (formerly of Mississippi) who is fighting for his life in an out of state hospital. Please pray for answers for his family.

Pray for each other. We all are in need of prayer as we face the difficulties of today’s society.

Congratulations to Lydia Bishop and Bryce Callie Lott who were elected treasurer and secretary, respectively, to the 2019-2020 East Central Community College student body council.

Happy birthday to the following people: Jeannie Vance, Tyrone McBeath, Wyatt McCann.

Sebastopol Library hours: Tuesday, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.-7 p.m.; Wednesday, 9 a.m.-12-p.m. and 12:30 p.m. -5 p.m.

Events coming up in April at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church:  Maundy Thursday, April 18, at 6 p.m.; Good Friday, April 19, at 6 p.m.; and Easter Sunrise Service at 6 a.m., followed by Sunday School and breakfast cooked by the men. Everyone in the community is invited to attend any and all of these services. Bible study on Sunday nights at 5 p.m. in the fellowship hall will resume on April 28 with a study on prayer. Come join the group. All are welcome.

Brother David Rives will be the quest minister for the month of April at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Morning worship is at 10 a.m. Anyone is welcome to attend any and all services at Salem.

The track team will be in competition this Thursday. Good luck to them.
