Benefit program set for March 7
Good Morning/Evening!
This generation has seen a lot of natural and unnatural occurrences. Terrorism, plane crashes, hate crimes, hurricanes, tornadoes and even earthquakes. A little closer to home are fires, car wrecks and floods for people we know.
Some of the first questions are...”is everyone well? Did they have insurance?” Insurance companies provide a valuable service needed to start over or replace. Although we don’t like paying the premiums, we realize the need. There is a spiritual angle to the insurance business.
There is a sense in which God is in the insurance (assurance) business. We, as Christians are His agents. We seek to “cover” our friends, relatives, neighbors, and all our brothers and sisters! From God’s vantage point, He can see all impending disaster worse than any hurricane or earthquake.
It will not destroy just one town but the whole earth. (2 Peter 3:10). It will not involve only a few thousand people, but all the people here. God is providing coverage for those of us willing to “pay the premiums.” Having such coverage helps us “rebuild” in a better place (Hebrews 11:10). Love motivates us...Gratitude sends us.....
Our prayers are continued for all the sick and shut-ins near and far, for whatever the situation they are facing; and for their caregivers.

FYI: There will be a benefit program for Ms. Symone Hill at New Beginning M. B. Church in Hillsboro on March 7, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. She lost everything in a house fire this year. It is sponsored by Sis. Catherine Shepard. All groups, soloists and well wishers are welcome. Come out and show some love to this family!
