Learn to smile
with your eyes
Good Morning/Evening!
This is a new month and a new start of getting use to a new normal way of life for many of us. Hey, but I figure it is better than giving up on living! So I am not put off by wearing a mask for my health and the health of people around me. It is a small sacrifice for the sanctity of human life.
We have too much to be thankful for to keep complaining about facial wardrobe; we learn to smile with our eyes and the tone of our voices. Either way the true impact of your feelings will shine through!
“Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days of my life were written before they took shape, when yet there was none of them.” (Psalm 139:16)
Be determined to enjoy the abundant life that Jesus Christ desires for you to have. At this time we may have to be creative in our activities for fun and day to day routines. Don’t let the devil win by trying to set you up to get upset.
The requirements for away from home activities can seem daunting; most people have a lot of stress, pressure and really too much to do at times. We have to face the facts that we can’t do it all at once. And now there is the added stress of deciding whether to allow our children back in the schools with all the restrictions in place, and many of our kids are questioning their parents about what will happen.
How do we calm their fears and concerns, when we the adults are just has concerned. Well my brothers and sisters, we have to start our days with God! Be determined to follow His lead everyday, not just on Sundays! Walking with God will give you pleasure and a calmness even when things are not going your way.
Accept the peace being offered to you from God; here are seven types of needed rest to restore yourself: 1) Physical 2) Mental 3) Spiritual 4) Emotional 5) Social 6) Sensory 7) Creative! If you don’t figure out how to attain these , I will try to expound on it more next week.
