Human beings are the only ones who think aloud. It is that thinking can be shown but not proven, because everyone has knowledge that is or is not necessary. It all depends on the way we live and on the environment, because in some cases these would have impact, but the fundamental thing is based on our thoughts taking place in the heart and not in the brain. So, thought does not depend on what we know but on our spirit.
The strength of the Holy Spirit is essential to our heart and soul. Our heart is not only the center of our physical life, but also our soul and spiritual life. Thought is expressed through our brain, which gives the impulses translated through our lips which articulate the message with audible words according to our language.
If we allow it, God works with the thoughts in our heart since it is the region where we freely receive the Holy Spirit. It will be the Holy Spirit who will guide from that moment, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper that any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, or joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12 ESV)
Beyond the knowledge we can acquire in books, schools or universities, it is Jesus who has the true answer to resolve any conflict in our lives, and from here comes the importance of words that are born from the heart and not in the head. “The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouths speaks.” (Luke 6:45 ESV) Both the tongue and the brain may be under control if we will have a contrite heart before God. If we do not, we serve evil and must accept all the consequences which accompany it. “But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person. For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.” (Matthew 15-18-19 ESV)
In the midst of difficulties of this world, let the Spirit guide us when we ask for it in prayer. Let us never forget that God listens to our hearts that expresses itself not with audible words but with actions.
May God bless you.
