Human Trafficking Awareness Event is August 4
Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Sebastopol, MS will host its Annual Revival on July 15-18. Nightly service starting at 7:00 p.m. Union Grove/Sylvester UMC will be hosting a Men’s Retreat on July 21, 2018. This retreat is open for all men and boys of the Steele and Hillsboro Community. The retreat will take place at Roosevelt State Park where the participants will enjoy food, fishing and games. If you would like to attend please contact me at 601-507-9567. Pastor Rochelle and Sister Kristy Wright will celebrate their 15 Year Anniversary on Sunday July 22 qt 11:00 a.m. Pastor Kevin Temple of Dekalb MS will be the guest speaker.
Lone Pilgrim MBC will host ordination Service for Minister James Buckley on Sunday July 22 at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Pastor David McNickles of Greater Works MBC of Forest Park, Georgia.
Green Grove UMC of Lake will host its Summer Revival July 22 -25. Pastor Dino Terrel will be the Sunday Speaker and there will be a different speaker each night. Nightly services begin at 7:30 p.m.
Pastor Calvin and Sister Beverly Smith of New Friendship BC of Forest will celebrate their 8th Year Church Anniversary on August 05 at 1:00 p.m. The speaker will be Pastor Jimmy Garner of Greater St. Matthew MBC of Canton.
New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Lake will host its Annual Fall Revival on August 6-10. Pastor Marcus McDougle of Pleasant Hill BC of Morton, MS will deliver the message each night. Pastor EJ Shepard will conduct revival service on August 7 at Greenwood Chapel in Farmhaven, MS.
Please remember Sylvester /Union Grove UMC has service every Sunday. 1st and 3rd are at Sylvester and 2nd and 4th are at Union Grove. Sunday School at each church on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Bible Class each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The month of July will be at Union Grove United Methodist Church and Daytime Bible Study is offered on Wednesdays also at 1:00 p.m. at Sylvester UMC.
