Union Grove/Sylvester U.M.C. has services on each Sunday – 1st and 3rd at Sylvester and 2nd and 4th at Union Grove. During the month of October Bible Class will be held at Sylvester starting at 6:30 p.m. Daytime Bible Study will be held on Oct. 24th at 1:00 p.m. at Sylvester U.M.C.
Mt. Zion MBC of Lake will host its Annual Family and Friends Day & Church Anniversary on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. Pleasant Hill MBC will host its Women’s Day Program on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 1:15 p.m. Colors are black and white with pink accessories. Sister Jackie McDougle will be the speaker. Mt. Zion will also be hosting a youth explosion on November 10th at 6 p.m.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Down Syndrome Awareness Month. We can surely relate to the subjects of the month. Be sure to promote the cause and awareness. Awareness and Education are key to fighting these battles.
Please remember Election Day on November 6. Not only remember it but please get out and vote. Remember to always take your photo ID with you to the vote. It is too late to register to vote for November Elections but it’s not too late to register for future elections.
