Movie Night is May 18 at Union Grove
Sylvester UMC and Union Grove UMC will host it’s Annual Women’s Day in May. Sylvester will host it Women’s Day on May 5 and Union Grove on May 26. Both will begin at 1:00 with a different speaker each Sunday. We pray that you will come out and worship with us. Union Grove will also host a Movie Night that is open to the public on May 18 at 4p.m.
New Frienship Baptist Church in Forest will host a Women’s Fellowship Tea on May 25 at 11:00 a.m. Mt. Olive MBC of Lake will host it 10th Year Pastory Anniversary of Pastor Charles E. Bell Jr on May 5 at 1:00 p.m.
A wonderful word from Pastor Marcus Mann. Did you know that God is working things together for your good? Well, He is! Even when you can’t see it. Even when you can’t feel it. He’s working behind the scenes on your behalf.
This week when you feel overwhelmed with anxiety, panic or worry, just say, “Lord, help me. Give me your peace!” Just as He spoke peace to calm the storm, He’ll speak to the storms in your life. This week you will hear many voices, media, friends, acquaintances, yourself. Determine to ultimately only LISTEN to God’s still small voice. Where you look, you will go.
Remember, Satan can never schedule for your destruction. He can only schedule your distraction. That’s where he gets you. “Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it” (Psalm 81:10) Do you have your mouth open wide today? In other words, are you expecting God to fill you and increase you beyond measure?
Think about a baby bird. When they are ready to eat, they open their mouths wide. They trust that they will be fed. They expect it. They look for it. They are ready for it. It should be the same way with us. We need to keep our spiritual mouths open by expecting the goodness of God to satisfy us.
Negative thinking is like closing your mouth. A closed mouth can’t be filled. But Jesus is saying today. “Why don’t you take the limits off?” Why don’t you trust and believe for supernatural opportunities?
That little bird waiting for food isn’t concerned about where the mother is going to get it from. It isn’t concerned about how she’s going to dig it up. No, that bird just opens its mouth, trusting and waiting. Why don’t you do the same today?
Trust that God is working behind the scenes. Open your mouth wide today. You won’t be disappointed. God is faithful to His Word, and He will fill you and satisfy you when you put your trust in Him!
This week I pray for divine connections and favor into your life. You will discern the gifts of God and receive them with open arms and heart. I command all hidden evil motives and wrong doings by those who surround you to be exposed. I pray those that are ordained to be a part of your destiny and bring fulfillment to your purpose and your life enter and come into alignment with the will of God. You are blessed in your relationships. I pray for your associations and divine connections. God will position you to meet the right people at the right time for the right purposes. I pray His goodness to go before you and show you favor for every assignment you carry and are called to complete. I speak confusion and dismantling to the plan and plot of the enemy to your destiny. No weapon formed against you will be able to prosper in the name of Jesus. You will walk in the grace and anointing for the new season that is now being ushered into your life. You have His wisdom and will not miscarry the promises of God for your life. You are highly favored and blessed!!
