Trade Center Fire
“Fire broke out at the ‘Spring Market’ at the Mississippi Trade Center last week. Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce, Andy Gibson, posted, “Fire broke out between 3:20 and 3:21 a.m. at the Mississippi Trade Market Center in Jackson, MS. It was in the Small Vender Booth’s area resulting in terrible smoke and soot and destroyed most of that inventory! While the Small Vendors Sale is canceled for now, there’s something we can do. I want you to the get the list of venders and shop and support these folks.” (I have heard that their Insurance does not cover their loses!) “Meanwhile, let’s pray for these folks and one another. Thank you for being Mississippi.” (The early reports suggest it was an electrical short in a booth set up for hair. There was little or no damage to the building itself, but was saturated with smoke all through the building.)
A man asked a Fairy to make him desirable and irresistible to all women. She turned him into a credit card!
Massive Strike Rocks Meat Industry, Greeley, CO. On 3/16/26 nearly 3,800 workers walked off their jobs at JBS NV Processing — one of the largest beef producers in the U.S. Employees dissatisfied with wage stagnation, better health care and safety equipment. Company purposes 60 cent raise first year and 30 cent annual. Meat packer’s work is ranked highest among most dangerous occupations. JBS NV owns processing facilities with more than 109,000 employees! This could tighten beef supplies and raise prices even higher.
Really pleased to get a tank of gas for $60 today!!! Granted, it was for my lawn mower! But I am trying to be positive.
