Texas governor, Greg Abbott, named “Best Governor in the Nation in 2020” continues to build a record as a strong conservative leader who fights to preserve Texas values.” He announced, last week, that he would not only continue to secure the Southern border — despite the Biden’s administration objection — but further expand the efforts. He is working to increase the number of troops along the border, installing more razor wire and barriers to bar entry from Mexico.
CBS news reported that the flow of illegal aliens has fallen along the Texas/Mexico border, with so called migrants shifting to cross the border in Arizona and California. Abbot said it was Texas’ enforcing laws passed by Congress, while President Biden is breaking those laws. Abbot said they had made over 39,000 criminal arrests and apprehended over 480,000 illegals, while deterring over 95,000 illegal entries.
