The Rebels came from a 20-point deficit to defeat the Raleigh Lions 26-20 on Friday, September 25th. This past Friday, Scott Central very soundly beat the Philadelphia Tornados by a score 41-18. The Rebels will travel to Newton this Friday. No tickets will be sold at the gate.
Congratulations to Hannah Grace Horton who was crowned Football Queen and to Demetria Hicks-Wash who was crowned Homecoming Queen during half-time ceremonies. Both young ladies are excellent representatives of their school and are very deserving of this recognition from the peers.
This week we completed the last phase of the return-to-school plan and all students, grades K-12 are back on campus. The senior class was especially happy to finally be back together with all their classmates. We are continuing to take all precautions to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible. We have just completed the 1st nine weeks of school and will be out for Fall Break, October 7-9.
Harperville Baptist Church recently called Bro. Gary Wyatt as our full-time bi-vocational pastor. Bro. Wyatt has done an exceptional job of serving as our interim pastor for many months. We are moving forward with plans to get back to normal operations by adding in a Sunday school service, children’s church and other activities. We will continue to add more and more services in the upcoming weeks.
