Helen Jewel Garner, 88, of Moss Point, MS passed away on Tuesday,
February 11, 2025, in Conroe, Texas. Helen was born in Pinola, MS to the
late James Everett Moore and Vivian Moore. Helen loved her family
greatly and will be missed. In addition to her parents, Helen was
preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Dalton Lavonne
Garner, her infant daughter, Laurie Ann Garner and brother James Carol
Moore. She is survived by her children, Danny (Nessa) Lewis, Cindy
(Ollie) Coward and Mike (Robin) Lewis, brother Ronnie (Arlene) Moore,
sister-in-law Belinda (Billy Paul) Earls and brother-in-law Lamar (Gay)
Garner; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Helen
will be cremated and her ashes will be buried in Springfield Baptist
Church cemetery located in Morton, MS next to her husband and infant
daughter.
