Marrian Haralson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Haralson, is the recipient of a $1,000 nursing scholarship awarded by The Lackey Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Haralson’s skills in the area of medicine and health include first aid, CPR, medical terminology, and lifeguard safety.
At Forest High School, Marrian was 2016 Homecoming Queen, a cheerleader, Beta Club officer, Student Council officer, and a member of the FHS Hall of Fame. She received the Citizenship Award and the President’s Education Award, and she is a Life Giver with United Blood Services.
Haralson will attend East Central Community College in the fall to begin her nursing studies. Auxiliary members felt that her application was truly impressive and are happy to award her this scholarship.
