Spiritual Work
To carry out Christian spiritual work it is essential to be illuminated with the light of Christ, otherwise, we will continue walking in this world as spiritually blind. The world that we have been living in for many years is full of realities that are abominable, dirty, violent, immoral that are for many a burden that prevents spiritual growth. It is necessary, then, to shake off this worldly burden. Not easy when we observe and live under high computer pressure, and in contact with many atheists, etc. So we must decide to follow Christ by cleansing ourselves from many things.
To open our eyes and be able to get out of the darkness, a deep conviction is needed, it is the result of spiritual work. A personal change must be aimed at continuing with our Christian traditions that are oriented towards a different and better future, fully aware that this takes time.
In general we can affirm that we live in a hell that can be interpreted in different ways, but whose existence we cannot deny. In reality the problem is not his existence but our insistence on falling into his networks.
“For whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit, let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 1 Peter 3:10-12 ESV
We always need to learn to work spiritually by looking at God’s ordinances, and know that everything has an effect on our consciences. That means that we need to leave behind the temptations that the world presents daily and that sometimes dominate us.
A Christian walking on the appropriate path will make his life something that corresponds to the will of God. We will notice a wonderful change in our heart and life. Our minds gradually begin to think and act differently, and it is no wonder that we sometimes ask ourselves that Jesus must have done this way. Our affections and our behavior will change, although worldly pressure will never stop provoking us, we will be free to reject it. Nor will we worry that many will judge us in some way, since our faith and conviction do not make us afraid to continue working spiritually.
May God bless you.
