Wilsons motor to Houston for induction
Sympathy is given to the Hollis and Hughes Families in the passing of Verna Mae Hollis Hughes. She was eulogized last Saturday at Sylvester UM Church. Her interment was in the church cemetery. Remember her family in your prayers.

Tom and Dr. Locord Wilson motored to Houston, TX on last weekend. They went to Jayla Greer’s induction into the Lutheran Church. The service celebration and induction were a three-day event, Friday Night, Saturday and Sunday Morning. The event was well attended by both sets of grandparents, Tom and Dr. Locord Wilson of Forest. Elder Johnny and wife, Van Greer flew in from St. Louis, Mo. Cousin Ashley Stowers, the daughter of the late Rodney Stowers also attended the celebration.
Midway M. B. Church Choir Day Program will be November 11 at 2:00 p.m. Your presence will be appreciated.
Thanksgiving Dinner will be served at Midway M.B. Church on November 19th, immediately after service. Everyone is invited to attend.
The Century Family Reunion will be held at Roosevelt Park, June 22 and 24, 2018. Saturday Night events will be held at Reach One on One in Forest. We are gearing up for great attendance. The Reunion is at home where all the people originated from that started the reunion in the Sixties.
Trunk or Treat was held at Midway M. B. Church parking lot on last Saturday. There was great participation in the event. Many people had trunks up for the celebrations. Some decorated trunks were Sandra McClendon and Betty Nell White, Dr. Lorraine Dozier, Chelsey McClendon, Teelisa Kennedy and Cadessica McClendon, Delie Shepard and Brittni Black.
