Spring Break
So sorry about missing last week deadline, but I was in Florida enjoying spring vacation on the 17th floor, overlooking the ocean view, watching the waves as they came in and went out. It was a glorious vacation. I accompanied my niece, Dr. Locord Wilson and her husband Tom on this vacation.
We viewed many sights, went shopping and enjoyed some good food, at some great places such as Red Robbins, Margaritaville, Red Lobster, and Applebee’s.
Youth Night will be held at Midway MB Church on March 26th starting at 6:30 p.m. All youth are invited to attend.
Rev. Westley Griffin was honored on last Friday Night in Meridian, Mississippi as the, Instructor for the Year, for the Lone Pilgrim District at the East Mississippi Christian Educators Conference.
Sympathy to the Harper family in the passing of Edric C. Harper (June 21-March 14, 2025). His funeral was last Saturday at Mt. Moriah MB Church in Pulaski, MS. Interment was in the church cemetery. Mapp Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
Sympathy to the Thompson family in the passing of Angel Thompson (April 15, 1981- March 10, 2025). Her service was March 17, 2025 at Little Mountain M. B. Church in Union, MS. Interment was in the church cemetery. Mapp Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
Sympathy to the Fountain Family in the passing of Trevon Fountain (December 29, 1995– March 2, 2025). His funeral was March 15th, 2025 at Lynch Chapel U.M. Church. Holifield Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
Sympathy to the Louis Family in the passing of Ryan Louis (April 10, 1981–March 13, 2025). His service was at Forest Elementary School Auditorium on last Saturday. Evans Memorial Funeral Home was entrusted with his arrangements.
Sympathy to the Derrick family in the passing of Curtis Derricks (May 30, 1946-March 15, 2024) His service was last Saturday at New Beginnings M.B. Church in Hillsboro, MS. His service was entrusted to Evans Memorial Funeral Home.
