Field Day is Oct. 21
Talked to Leslie, he is doing better. He still cannot drive. His 17-year-old niece, Alexiah is driving him and taking Xhavier to and from school. In the state of Minesota a new driver has to have so much drive time with an adult before their permanent licenses are instated. Good luck to both of them.
Marty Shepard came home for a two week stay. His purpose was to put up a high tunnel house. As I look outside all the framing is done. The completion is the front, back top covering and the sides. It looks good. Then get ready for the preparation for fall crops.
The kitchen committee did a wonderful job preparing September lunch plates. The plates consisted of Pork Stew over rice, corn bread muffin and Pineapple cake. We definitely missed Skeet last Sunday.
