Sympathy to the Rasco Family in the passing of Jimmy Marzeal Rasco (July 9, 1952 - March 9, 2026). His service was last Saturday at Sylvester United Methodist Church. All arrangements were entrusted to Holifield Funeral Home.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of fifty-three years, Dr. Mattie Ree Ragsdale Rasco, and their two sons: Victor Rasco (Tiscia) of Atlanta, GA and Leonard Rasco of Houston, TX; One sister, Eva Johnson (Jimmy) of Indianapolis, IN; Two brothers, David Rasco of Forest, MS and Melvin Rasco of Lake Jackson, TX; Two grandchildren, Mia Gabrielle Rasco and Cole Joseph Rasco of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Abe Quinton Mills of Scott County passed away on March 19, 2026, at St Dominic’s after experiencing a stroke earlier that week. He was surrounded by the ones he loved most and held closest during the last days of his beautiful journey here on earth. His service was last Sunday at Hillsboro Baptist Church, with the burial immediately after at Hillsboro Baptist Church Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to Wolfe funeral Home.
Abe is survived by his daughters, Judy (Freddy) Ledford, and Jan (Britt) Crowell, his grandsons Jonathan Abe (Meredith) Ledford, Joshua (Kayla) Ledford, and Christopher Drew (Brooke) Crowell, and his three great-grandchildren, Sanders Abe Ledford, Emma Cate Ledford, and Mills Elizabeth Ledford. These grandchildren carry on pieces of Abe within their very identity, each named after him as a testament to his life and legacy. He began his life on March 3rd , 1935, in Leake County, Mississippi.
It is with profound sadness and deep respect that we announce the passing of Infant Klarity Grace McDonald, who was born on March 14, 2026, in Hinds County, Mississippi, and departed this life on March 20, 2026, at UMMC Jackson, MS. Klarity Grace was a precious soul, an adorable little girl whose presence, though brief, touched the hearts of all who knew her.
She is lovingly survived by her devoted father, Quivonte McDonald; her mother, Sabriyanna Hillie; and her siblings, Kyzie Shadwick, Nolan McDonald, and Josiah Jones. Klarity Grace is also remembered by numerous grandparents and great-grandparents who held her dear.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Infant Klarity Grace McDonald will be held on March 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services - Morton, located at 3054 Hwy 80 West, Morton, Mississippi.
Jay “Jaybo” Colten Holingsworth, May 9, 1988 — March 19, 2026, age 37, passed away on March 19, 2026, in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born in Jackson, Mississippi. Jay was a 2006 graduate of Lake High School
He is survived by his mother, Melissa Bell (Bobby), and father, Shane Hollingsworth, his maternal grandparents, Janice Burt Courtney (Doug), and Huey and Tootsie Bell, paternal grandparents Baker and Lynda Hollingsworth, his siblings, Justin Hollingsworth (Hannah), Jessie Gray (Devin), Charlie Bell (Brianna), Steven Bell (Shelby), and Haley Foster (Mike).
Jay is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews: Bailey Nelson, Zoey Hollingsworth, Easton Bell, Harper Bell, Scarlette Gray, Everly Gray, Amelia Bell, Elijah Foster, Weslie Bell, and Noah Wooten.
Mrs. Betty Joyce Ezell Stamper, 91, of Lawrence passed away on Saturday, March 14 at Ochsner Hospital in Meridian. She was a lifelong resident of Lawrence, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest, MS from 10-11:30, with the funeral service beginning at 11:30 in the Ott and Lee Chapel.
She leaves behind her two children, Richard Stamper (Shelia) and Kathy Neese; two grandchildren, Adria Miles (Justin), and Nathan Stamper (Leanne); five great grandchildren, Joshua, Hannah, and Miriam Miles, Rush and Sam Stamper; and a sister, Dianne Smith (Milton)
A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend Mary Sistrunk passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at the age of 67. She was born on March 29, 1958, and spent her life devoted to her family, the people she loved. Her celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28th from 10am - 12pm at Hillsboro Baptist Church.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Alisa (TeeJae) Rogers, Joseph Lewis, and stepdaughter Kelli Sistrunk; her grandchildren, Adrien Ormond, Kelsi Ormond, and Lydia Rogers; her sister, Debby (Brian) Mims and their children Rae Anna Dawson, Daniel Dawson and Jesse Dawson; and a host of other nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
