There will be another Poll Workers Training on July 24th at 6:00 pm for all Receiving and Returning officers and Bailiffs at The Scott County Courthouse in the Circuit Court Room. These workers are asked to there.

Congratulations to Jackie Bradford on his Retirement Celebration of 24 years as Beat One Supervisor which was held last Saturday at 4:00 pm at Little Rock M. B. Church Fellowship Hall. He had his family in attendance, his wife Dale, children Millicent and Standish and grandchildren, two of his brothers, William (Myra) and one twin Willie (Linda) and his only living beloved aunt from Jackson, MS Bernice Montgomery, and several nieces and nephews. There were tributes from several churches, organizations, fellow supervisors and other elected officials from the surrounding area.

Lewis of Forest Lodge #142 and E. T. Hawkins High School Class of 1969; Greg Nicks of Little Rock M. B. Congratulation to Jackie Bradford on his many years of service to the county. You have been a champion among many. If more people would attend the Board meetings on the first Monday of the month, they would realize how much the supervisors do for the county and how much as an individual they cannot do.
The 60th Century Family reunion will be held June 21-23, 2024 in Memphis, Tennessee next year. As I learn more I will let you know.
August 5, 2023 is the E. T. Hawkins Annual Class Reunion. This year it will be held at Reach One on One, Highway 501 South Forest. I will write more next week about this event.
The next upcoming reunion is the Nickols/Ragsdale/Ealy Family Reunion. This reunion started with the seed of Rev. Morris Nickols and his wives, Sophie, Vellie and Annie Ragsdale and Ealy if you are related to any of these people please attend to see who your relatives are. This event will be July 21, 22 and 23, 2023. Friday Meet and Greet Event will be at Roosevelt State Park Lodge, Morton. Saturday Outing will be from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at Roosevelt State Park in Morton. Sunday you will attend church at the old home church of Midway M. B. Church, this was the church of many of the ancestors before their demise or moving to a new location. Sunday School starts at 9:00 am and Service starts at 10:30 am. Rev. Wesley Griffin is the pastor.
The East Scott Class Reunion had service at Little Rock M. B. Church on Last Sunday under the pastoral ship of Rev. Shelton Thomas. They enjoyed the service with him.
Sympathy to the Patrick Family in the passing of Chris Patrick. His service was last Friday at Union Grove M. B. Church Graveside Service in Steele Town Community Interment Church Community Cemetery. Mapp Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
