Vote Tuesday
Hopefully people are gearing up to go out and vote for the candidate of their choice. Beat 5 will have a run-off for supervisor in the Republican party. You will go back to the precincts to vote in the run-off election on August 29. You will vote at the same party table you voted at on August 8. If you didn’t vote at all on August 8, in Beat 5, you may vote on August 29 in the Republican Beat 5 Supervisor race. If you voted at the Democratic Table there will not be a Democratic table set up for you to vote at. There was not run-off at the Democratic Table. You can only vote for Tommy A. Harrison or Bruce McMillian. They are running for a Republican Beat 5 supervisor. The winner will face Herman Fountain on November 7, 2023. So, gear up everyone to come back for the run-off.
