Marvin McLaurin, Pastor. Scripture Reading was from the Pulpit. Prayer and Words of Encouragement were done by Rev. Sheldon Thomas. There were two selections done by Bro. R. C. Williams. Ardene, met and united in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life, Margaret Ann (Johnson) Moore for 26 years and to this union five children were born. Margaret preceded Ardene in death in November of 1997. I attended Margaret Ann’s funeral when Mt Zion Road was a gravel road and it had rained recently. That was many years ago. I also worked with Maurice in the 80’s at Walmart. The world truly turns. I remember the soap opera “As the world turns” the world truly turns and for those who do not believe, just keep on living.
Ardene was also preceded in death by two brothers, Clemon Moore and Joe Moore.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: five children, Maurice (Tracey) Moore of Carthage, MS, Freda Moore of Orange Park, Fl, Alexander (Melissa) Moore of Jacksonville, FL, Adrian (Donielle) Moore of Pearl, MS, and Angela Moore of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Edward (Ever) Moore of Lake, MS; seven sisters, Vinnie Pearl Moore of Niagara Falls, Pearlie (Daniel) Gray of Lake, MS, Georgetta (Junior) Riley of Pittsburgh, CA, Wanda (Clarence) Session of Sacramento, CA, Torrecelli Chapman of Newton, MS, Vivian (Joseph) Sanders of Forest, MS, and Carlean Curtis of Chicago, IL; one uncle, Bishop Sam Rankin of Niagara Falls, NY; two aunts, Bernice Moore of Gary, IN, and Mary Francis Moore of Detroit, MI; seven grandchildren, Kentaneisha Moore of Orange Park, FL, Marquis Moore of Carthage, MS, Joshua Moore of Jacksonville, FL, Jaivian Moore of Monticello, AR, J’ionne Moore of Jacksonville, FL, Reagan Moore of Monticello, AR, Aiden Moore of Pearl, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
