A report that a very special luncheon outing was enjoyed while dining at the Half Shell Restaurant in Madison recently. Those sharing a good meal, fellowship and even some birthdays were Ann Rector, Sharon Vines, Betty Jo Lewis, and daughter Melissa, Chris French and granddaughter Jennifer, Jo Ann Burnham, Bobbie Black, and daughter Debora. These long time friends were blessed to have this special time together. Wouldn’t you have loved to listen in on that loving conversation (maybe even a little “gossip” from home).
Lee Ann Palmer and Marsha Barnes took a long planned jaunt to South Carolina on a quest to seek some information on ancestors and familiar names to be found in various cemeteries scattered about in town and country settings. They were delighted to find many Livingstons, Boozers, Wickers and other settlers who had ventured into Mississippi. Knowing those two, it is fair to think that there was quite a bit of research that went into this adventure.
