Carl Woolery on his 91st Birthday Anniversary honored with a celebration with his family and Springfield Baptist Church family.
To: Diana Ramirez on the celebration of her 70th Birthday Anniversary held with family and friends at Logan’s Steak House in Pearl.
To: Jeannine Robertson on her 88th Birthday Anniversary followed by her 65th Wedding Anniversary to her high school/college sweetheart Reggie Robertson.
To: Educator of the Month - Hannah Wallace who is a 1st Grade teacher at Morton Elementary School. A graduate of Richland High School, Hinds Community College and The University of Southern Mississippi Hannah takes pride in her family, church activities and continuing teaching skills in the summer months serving in Vacation Bible School at East Morton Baptist Church. Ross Dental Clinic takes pride in sponsoring this local educator.
To: Morton Panther Lego/Robotics team in their first LEGO LEAGUE competition held in Vicksburg. Their Awards in this competition were Rising Star, First Place Robot Performance and earned a Golden Ticket to the next similar competition.
Prayers and concern for: Gail Griffin and all who are recovering from injuries in the recent terrorism attacks.

Travelin’, visitin’ and such: Morton Homemaker Volunteers worked on preparations to honor the residents of the Hudspeth Group Homes on Tuesday, December 16. Following this activity members shared their efforts with a Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 17 at Morton Public Library complete with gifts, playing BINGO, prizes to winners and mini-cupcake treats and water to celebrate those delighted residents and their wonderful dedicated staff members.
