Travelin’, visitin’ and such: Correction-The Donnie Register’s Anniversary dinner was celebrated at the Cheekwood Restaurant and Lounge, Vicksburg, not the Cherokee Inn as reported last week. There must not have been much traveling out of town with many staying home or with friends gathered to watch the Super Bowl. There have been quite a few high school basketball tournaments drawing out fans to support their favorite teams and some great college games on home courts causing travel by their fans. But there’s not enough space to cover all of those travels. Just hope you returned home happy with the final score.
