Announcements: Morton MHV Club will meet for the August meeting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2nd at Morton Public Library. Members are reminded to bring “picnic type” refreshments and craft/art ideas from past Cultural Arts exhibits. Everyone is invited/encouraged to attend.
Friends of Morton Public Library will sponsor an Ice Cream Social this Thursday, July 27, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Travelin’, visitin’ and such: Looking forward to readers beginning to travel once again following home bound chores cleaning up their property damaged by the recent storms. Prayers are that school activities returning will provide many travel opportunities. Don’t forget to report those outings. This columnist finds your trips, visits, etc. interesting and receives some good tips on future outings for my family.
