NATIONAL SUMMARY
An intensifying storm will bring snow, freezing rain and
rain to much of New England and upstate New York tomorrow.
Rain will mix with and change to locally heavy snow in much
of Lower Michigan, with snow gradually coming to an end in
eastern Iowa, northwestern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
Farther west, lighter snow can fall in the northern Plains
with a mix of rain and snow in the central Plains. The
threat of severe weather will be low in the Southeast, but
thunderstorms are still expected to rumble in Alabama,
Georgia, the western Carolinas and the western Florida
Panhandle. A bit of precipitation may fall in northwestern
Washington, but most of the precipitation will move into
western Washington and Oregon overnight. Otherwise, a dry
day is expected everywhere west of the Rockies.
