NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large zone of severe weather can stretch from central
Indiana to Ohio and southward to southeastern Louisiana,
Mississippi and Alabama tomorrow. Thunderstorms can bring
flooding downpours, damaging wind gusts and even an isolated
tornado. The main threat will primarily be damaging winds in
northern and central Ohio. In colder air farther to the
northwest, snow can make roads and sidewalks slippery and
cause travel disruptions in much of Iowa, central and
eastern Wisconsin, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and
northern and central Lower Michigan. Showers will advance
into the Northeast, reaching upstate New York and southern
New England by the end of the day. Spotty rain and snow can
impact northwestern Washington, but much of the West can
expect a dry day.
