The Nation's Weather for Saturday, February 18, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
The nation will largely be free of major storms tomorrow.
Snow showers are expected in northern Idaho and western
Montana, spreading into western Wyoming during the
afternoon. A bit of snow can also fall in the Washington
Cascades, with a spotty rain shower or two west of the
Cascades all the way to the coast. A slight chance of
showers will be present in southeastern Florida along the
tail end of a cold front. The Southwest, Plains, Midwest,
mid-Atlantic and Northeast can all anticipate a dry start to
the weekend. A more active pattern is expected next week as
extreme cold plunges into the West. This can cause snow to
fall right down to sea level in Washington, Oregon and
Northern California with heavier snow in the mountains.
