NATIONAL SUMMARY
A major winter storm will wind down tomorrow, with just a
few lingering morning flurries in interior New England and
upstate New York. Some light lake-effect snow could fall in
the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and northwestern Lower
Michigan. A bit of light snow may break out in eastern
Nebraska and spread into Iowa. By the end of the day, the
snow will reach southwestern Wisconsin and western Illinois.
On the southern end, light freezing rain will coat
northeastern Kansas and northwestern Missouri. A swath of
showers will stretch from eastern Texas to South Carolina.
The most impactful weather will be in California, with areas
of flooding and difficult travel likely in coastal Southern
California. Meanwhile, heavy snow is expected from the
Sierra to the Grapevine.
