NATIONAL SUMMARY
A major storm will affect much of the eastern half of the
country tomorrow. On the northern periphery, snow or an icy
mix will stretch from central Missouri to northern Illinois,
Michigan and New York and northern and central Pennsylvania.
Meanwhile, severe thunderstorms with flooding downpours,
damaging wind gusts and even an isolated tornado are
expected in central and southern Ohio, western West Virginia
and eastern Kentucky. Thunderstorms with flash flooding and
isolated damaging wind gusts may reach as far south as
Alabama and Georgia. A corridor from southern Missouri and
northeastern Arkansas to southern Illinois, central and
southwestern Indiana, western Kentucky and northwestern
Tennessee will have periods of heavy rain that may cause
flooding.
