_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
There can be a few rain or snow showers along the Great
Lakes tomorrow, as well as lingering snow flurries in
northern New England. A cold front traveling across the
South Central and Southeast regions will spread rain from
Texas to Virginia and Maryland. This front will also bring
chillier conditions to these regions. A storm will continue
to travel across the Northwest, bringing showers and some
higher-elevation snow to this region. High pressure in the
Southwest will promote seasonable conditions and some
sunshine for most areas, with the exception of New Mexico
and western Texas, where a quick-moving storm can bring some
rain. In the North Central portion of the nation, dry
conditions will continue with temperatures near to just
below the historical average for this time of year.
