NATIONAL SUMMARY
Another storm will begin to take shape in the central and
southern Plains tomorrow, spreading showers and
thunderstorms across much of the center of the country.
Thunderstorms can become strong to perhaps severe from
Missouri to eastern Texas, and can produce large hail and
locally damaging wind gusts. In the Northeast, rain and
drizzle will linger through the day, and temperatures will
trend lower than previous days. Most of the West will remain
largely dry, with the exception of a shower or two in the
higher elevations of the Rockies. It will be another cool
day in the northern Plains and northern Rockies, with
temperatures remaining 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit below
historical averages. Much of the southern United States will
continue to experience very warm conditions.
