_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms from eastern Texas and Louisiana up into
eastern Kansas and western Missouri tomorrow into the night
can bring flash flooding, hail, localized damaging winds and
isolated tornadoes. Heavy rain elsewhere in Kansas, much of
Nebraska, Iowa and southern Minnesota can potentially lead
to localized flash flooding. The Plains will also be fairly
windy with gusts above 40 m.p.h. in many places. This is
especially the case for northern Texas into Oklahoma. Rain
and snow showers will cover much of the higher terrain in
the interior West. A storm in the Northwest will bring
showers to western Oregon and Washington. There can also be
a few spotty showers in Upsate New York and northern New
England. The Southeast and mid-Atlantic will largely be
pleasant, dry and mostly to partly sunny.
