The One in the Mirror
Good Morning/Evening!
Second after thanking God for His goodness, I would like to say thank you to everyone that blessed us ( New Beginnings M.B Church family) with your presence and participation in lifting up praises to the Lord in songs. You helped make our Family and Friends Day celebration a wonderful experience. We love you!
Now to share an enlightening message I received: If you can’t see anything in a positive light, if all you see is what your spouse, child, friends, or strangers does wrong; the problem may not be with them! At some point we may have to look in the mirror and say, “maybe I’m the one who needs to change. Why am I so critical, maybe I’ve developed a habit of looking for fault rather than good. I’m too judgemental and condemning instead of giving people the benefit of the doubt.”
There is a solution — God! If you see something or someone you don’t understand or don’t agree with, don’t be so quick to judge or allow that critical spirit to take over. Ask God to let you see things and people through His loving eyes. Start praying for them and helping if need be, when led by the Holy Spirit to do so.
Let’s finish spiritually strong these last months of 2024 by seeing the good in people!!
