Strength
Good Morning/Evening!
For the most part of March we have been experiencing all types of weather, from heat, to cold, to freezing and severe storms with damaging winds also wildfires! Your body is all confused...but we can rest assured that none of these events are surprising to God!! He is still providing, protecting and purposing our life’s journey.
On Saturday, we celebrated the Life of Mr. Curtis “Curt” Derricks. A man that was well known by many, and a part of my family too many years to count, let’s just say our families were neighbors. He will be missed, but remembered.
There were other families bidding farewell to loved ones this past weekend, Harper/Lee; Robinson; and Fulton/Louis .
These are life storms and pain that are a part of living. But there is help from the great Comforter to guide us through. Strength isn’t always loud, it’s not always about standing tall, or moving mountains or winning battles. Sometimes strength is soft. Sometimes it’s just about the decision to keep getting up, to believe that better days are coming, even when we can’t see them yet. But one day, we’ll look back and realize that every struggle, heartache, and tear we shed had a purpose. When the weight has been lifted and the pain has softened, we’ll understand why it had to happen this way. But all in God’s timing.
We are in continued intercessory prayer for all the sick and shut-ins everywhere, and for our leaders in every capacity.
